I believe that everyone deserves a birth doula. And birth is just the first step. The transition to parenthood; the shift in identity, bringing home new baby - this is where the journey truly begins.
- ERIKA DAVIS
With out a doubt, pregnancy, labor and birth are truly awesome experiences. No matter how you bring baby earthside the experience can be life changing. But after you leave the hospital or the midwife and assistant leave your home you are left to care for a brand new human. Caring for that new human can be ovewhelming. My job as your Postpartum Doula is to help make the transition to parenthood one that is filled with support, loving care and loving kindness. As your Postpartum Doula I will help you with feeding, new baby care, household organization, meal preparation, and more. Above all, offering support is my primary concern and not support for your baby, but support for you.

Consultation I will do a complimentary consultation either in your home or other location where we can discuss your needs and what you are looking for in a postpartum doula. I prefer to do the consultation before your baby has been born so that I can make myself available to you as soon as you return home (for folks giving birth at hospital or in a birthing center), or so that I can plan to be by your side the day following a home birth. During the consultation we will discuss potential needs you may have as a new parent, your wishes for feeding your baby; either nursing, bottle feeding, supplemental formula feeding, or formula feeding, diapering, sleep plan, etc. This is also an opportunity for me to tell you a bit about myself and my doula philosophy.
